Wendy Kwong, a Director, thrives on challenges. She especially enjoys handling her clients’ complicated and innovative agreements and transactions, for which there may be little established accounting protocol. “Bring them on ” says Wendy, who provides business management, tax, and accounting services for high level non-profit organizations, private equity funds, and multi-tiered business groups with total assets of more than $800 million. She also has years of experience with real estate partnerships, limited liability companies, estates, and trusts.

Wendy directs the Business Management Group at Stanislawski & Harrison, which handles the insourced accounting for many of their largest clients. She has extensive experience as a client liaison with the international CPA firms that perform outside audits for Stanislawski & Harrison's insourced accounting clients and “can speak the auditor’s language.” This means that their financial audits are more efficient and require very little participation from Wendy’s busy clients.

Wendy is meticulous about her work. “I have to be a detective, doing my homework and paying attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture, ” she says. This approach yields substantial benefits for her clients, such as the time when she noted a bank mistake that was costing the client tens of thousands of dollars a month in interest, which was rectified.

Clients don’t like surprises, so Wendy and her team keep them informed throughout the process, making sure they understand the work and the approach being used. “We work closely and proactively with our clients,” she says. “With their accounting insourced to us, they can focus on managing and developing their business.”
